Not Even WhatsApp
Our chats are a sacred space, full of personal exchanges. Whether it’s our endearing voice notes, down-bad selfies, or group chat messages that would get us canceled if they were ever leaked—these messages are personal to each and every one of us. Naturally (and especially in today’s world where our data seems to be shared everywhere), we care about keeping these messages private. Thanks to end-to-end encryption, WhatsApp ensures privacy is always protected.
For its first and largest global campaign, WhatsApp delivered a message to the world standing ten toes down in its commitment to privacy. To support the campaign, I worked on print, digital, and social across US, UK, Brazil, and Mexico markets to roll out the brand’s message: No one, not even WhatsApp, can see or hear your personal messages.

We let encryption do the talking with a takeover of the Metro newspaper.

In addition to print and OOH, we took over displays across Youtube, Twitter, Pinterest, Reddit, Twitch, Netflix, Tik Tok, and so much more. Hundreds of assets were created in total, with content catered to each platform and market.
